Surah Yunus, ayah 100

وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفۡسٍ أَن تُؤۡمِنَ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَيَجۡعَلُ ٱلرِّجۡسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ ١٠٠

Wamā kāna linafsin an tu'mina illā bi idhnillāhi wayaj'alur-rijsa 'alal-ladhīna lā ya'qilūn

And it is not for a soul [i.e., anyone] to believe except by permission of Allāh, and He will place defilement⁵⁴¹ upon those who will not use reason.
