Prayer times

Each time comes from the position of the sun at your city. Fajr and Isha depend on how far the sun is below the horizon, and every country has a usual method for those angles. We use that method for each city.

Hanafis pray Asr when an object's shadow is twice its length. The Shafi'i, Maliki and Hanbali schools use a shadow equal to its length, which comes earlier. City pages show both.

Mosques sometimes use other angles, add a few minutes of precaution or round the times. For congregational prayer, follow your local mosque.
