Which calculation method is used in Switzerland?

Prayer times in Switzerland use the Muslim World League method, used across Europe, much of Asia and Africa. Asr is calculated with the Shafi'i rule.

Why are the times different between cities in Switzerland?

Prayer times follow the position of the sun, so they change with each city's latitude and longitude. Cities further east pray earlier.
